General AV Question
I am currently using Avast! but I have noticed that with all AVs I have ever used whenever you get a virus the AV recommends you move it to a Virus Chest or Vault. What does the Vault do? Why doesnt the AV just delete virus? And should I manually delete or leave it in the vault?

The Vault or Quarantined area is basically a place where the file is supposedly isolated from the system and can't cause as much harm or spread (supposedly).
Either you may have it set to be moved by default (to prevent accidental deletions of legit files perhaps), or the virus is such that the AV can't simply clean it or delete it.
