HOW to overclock 8600m gt in xp-32??
Some serious help needed here please.which drivers should i use to oc 8600m gt in xp-32.I have tried 165.01 and 158.22 with both rivatuner and atitool,but the clocks just dont stick.
MY LAPTOP: Vostro 1500
processor ;1.6 c2d
ram ; 1gb
display ; 8600m gt(256mb ddr2)

as the core of desktop and laptop 8600 gt are same....but the clocks speeds r different, overclocking will make the difference in games(fps) quite comparable to a desktop card..which basically means improved performance....:)

this guide involves changes in bios n stuff....but many ppl here have overclocked
by just using rivatuner and ati tool...

i hav tried with rivatuner,ati tool and now even powerstrip,the prob is that the sliders which i move 2 oc simply slide back to original settings as i click apply.
this could be the drivers issue...maybe my drivers just dont allow oc.......so the question is which ones do??
