Question:
bluetooth to my phone
I have a vostro 1500 and a motorola v325 w/ bluetooth.
My question is this...is there software out there that I can use to send sound files to my computer (ie. music that I have clipped)

Depends on the phone. If the phone doesn't present itself as a proper Bluetooth device, then no. I know that Verizon will lock down it's phones quite often and prevent features like that from working, even if it's theoretically possible.

Hmm, Its hard to say if somebody doesnt own the phone. Mine is pretty easy just click options on any file (game, music, file, anything) and hit send, and a fly out menu comes out and lets me send it as a MMS, or bluetooth.
If you happen to have locked features on the phone by your provider look into some of the phone enthusiast forums/sites and alot of times there are hacks to get around them.

Most carriers lock their default files, the ones included in ROM. Like ringtones, pictures, games, etc. And downloading stuff from a carrier is also mostly locked. Some go as far as disable some transferring/sharing functions all together.
