Question:
Car paint?
Now that I've read quite a few tutorials for painting a laptop, I've become really interested in doing one too. It seems like the way to go is either Krylon Fusion paint (which I used on my scanner lid, basically the same material as my laptop, with good results) or car spray paint. I was just curious if anyone has had good results with any particular brand for cars.

Car paint will yield a much better result but it is not for the "home user" the techniques and equipment are the domain of pros and serious hobbists.
If thats what you want then I would suggest LaptopDesignUSA (link in sig) or finding an airbrush artist in your area.

Yeah, I wouldn't suggest you to use automotive paints, unless you know what your doing, or are very brave/stupid. But in either case, prep work is very important, and you do NOT want to gimp that.
