Hi All,
Just a post asking you to add on your notebook if it does work with Battlefield 2 and whether the quality is poor / good / great.
Just add your notebook underneath the last one. Also if it does not work the first person to let us know just create DOES NOT WORK SECTION

Answer: sorry, but this is a question about a laptop im getting hopefully in the near future. I just wanna know how well a system like this will run BF2.
Dell Inspiron 93000
intel pentium m 760 2ghz
1gb of ddr2 sdram
nvidia geforce go 6800 256mb
60gb hd 7200 rpm
microsoft windows xp proffesinal
all that for around $2000 with $750 with the coupon.
So, will that be able to run BF 2 with high settings?

Answer: I'm fairly certain that that 9300 will be able to run BF2 very, very well, considering it could blow away DooM3 at maximum settings. A tip: Don't buy the RAM from Dell; just get the 256MB from Dell and buy 2 gigs of Transcend off of newegg.com. You'll end up saving about $15 and getting twice as much RAM.
--------------------
Dell Inspiron 9300(?): Intel Pentium-M 1.86GHz Sonoma, 1.25GB DDR533 RAM, GeForce Go6800
Gateway 7422GX: AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 1024MB DDR RAM, 64MB Mobility RADEON 9600 (May be going to my parents.)
AVERATEC AV3270-EH1: AMD Mobile Sempron 2800+, 512MB DRR RAM, 64MB (shared) S3G Unichrome
Answer: I have an I6000d with a 128 x300, 512 ram, pentium-m 1.86, and a 5400 rpm drive. BF2 ran on mine on low settings but it ran fairly smooth. I am upgrading the hd and the ram so hopefully it will run better then.
Answer: it runs fine on the 9300 just dont update the driver when asked.
Answer: on what settings were you able to play it on smoothly(smoothly for me is an average of 30fps, no dips under 20)
btw, refering to the post above, thanks for the RAM advice!
Answer: I had to set all settings to medium to get it to run smoothly.
I figure EA Games will release a patch soon because its so buggy.
Just another bad codeing job from are friends at EA.
hope this helped...
Answer: On the XPS2 "high" settings are completely unplayable due to HDD accessing. I can only make the game run lag free at medium and have no problems going to 1600x1200 with 4x AA. But the game is very buggy and unresponsive. I get connection problems frequently, although a large number of those were caused by my 2915 wireless card, as usual [:(!]. Without it being in use the lag is much more managable.
I'm really surprised. I've had the game crash in the menus on me several times and the graphics are no where near Joint Ops. [:(] Outside of a vehicle there's little you can do, which is annoying.
