Question:
"Clean-up" Programs...?
I feel like I have about 20 of these things, and I don't know what's good and what's not. Aside from anti-virus (Norton, AVG, MacAfee, etc), what's some good clean up programs to get your cache clear and whatnot. Currently I have stuff like Window Washer, Spybot, and AdAware. Trying to minimalize the amount of these on my laptop and then number that need to be run. Thanks for your help.

Re: "Clean-up" Programs...?
I like Privacy Eraser Pro, but i believe they have a free version. It erases all of your temp files, cleans out windows, has several different plug-ins, etc. I would keep spybot and adware since they catch different things. With all the different types of spyware/adware, it is better to have a couple of different programs since each program covers different spyware/adware. Spysweeper is another good program, but it also takes up alot of resources.
On mine, I only have my firewall and antivirus running at all times. The rest are disable and I run them once every couple of days.

i use Microsoft AntiSpyware, Ad-Aware, and SpyBot...all 1 right after the other...around 1-2 times per week...and then i use CC Cleaner right after it...and it cleans up all that extra junk i don't need :D ...and it also tells me how much KBs, MBs or GBs it cleans up
