Connecting to Kazaa Lite
I recently purchased a Asus Z70A notebook and I'm experiencing problems connecting to Kazaa Lite. I turned off mt fire wall and even diabled my security settings but my computer still will not connect to Kazaa. When I first installed Kazaa Lite it worked fine.

Do you get some sort of error? And are you connecting on your network or someone else's?

I personally like BearShare. You just have to get rid of vvsn.exe which is a spyware program. If you are using Microsfts firewall, turn it off and use ZoneAlarm.

I don't get an error. It just says "Connecting" at the bottom of the window and stays like that.

Limewire is another good option if you can't get Kazaa working. It doesn't get targetted as much and the interface is almost exactly the same.

Please update me on this, are Kazaa downloads legal? I'm not up to date on the whole music download thing.

it depends on if it is copyrighted or not. Kazaa has both copyrighted and non-copyrighted songs. In the US, it is only legal to download the non-copyrighted songs

If your not paying for it then it is illegal. Personally, i would stay fay away from Kazaa. Most files there are corrupt and it's also full of spyware. Grab something like Shareaza or Bearshare. You will have a lot less problems. You could also go the Bittorrent route and grab Bitcomet for larger downloads.
