Get rid of Microsoft Office Setup Files?

Question:
Get rid of Microsoft Office Setup Files?
After installing Microsoft Office I am asked if I want to delete the Setup Files. They take up about 220,000 kb of space but then again I have a 100gb hard drive. Microsoft suggests keeping the setup files to make updating easier. What would you do and why?

Re: Get rid of Microsoft Office Setup Files?
If you have a legal version of Office and don't mind taking out the CD's when you update Office or install new features, then I'd say it's safe to remove the setup files. However, with your large hard drive, I'd suggest leaving them on just for convenience sake, or in case your CD's get lost.

did u elect to "install all components to the hard drive" when you did the install? if so, then you don't need the setup files.

I delete them, just because the setup throws them on the next available partition. so when I format my main partition they remain there and I have to delete them manually ... and I am lazy! :)

actually, if you installed everything to your HD, then there's no point in keeping the setup files on there... everything u need is arleady on your HD
