M1210 Graphics card
Hey, I just got my XPS m1210 in the mail. I find vista utterly confusing... Anyways, how do I find out if my computer came equiped with the GeForce Go 7400, there was no sticker on in and I could no find any discription of a graphics card in the system preformance menu. Any ideas?

Under System>Hardware>Device Manager>Display Adapters.

This is vista... a little different but close.... click on the pearl (start) and then right click computer. click device manager on left and agree to the UAC. It will be under there.

You bought a laptop and you don't know what card you have in there? Don't you remember configuring it?

I was thinking the same thing but was trying to be nice... Anyway, you should have configured it in the first place or read it on the invoice.

no, I configured it and selected what I needed to. It's just the last laptop I got from dell did not include all of my selected hardware. Also there was no Nvidia sticker or anything on this one. I just didn't want to find out two months from now when I might not be able to return it. But thankyou guys for the help.:)

Reinstall the drivers from the dell website and see if the nvidia drivers are compatible if it is, then you have a 7400.

There is an easier way to find out then to just try and install a driver... plus, that clutters the registry. Just check device manager.
