Age of Empires III
wow have you guys seen this game? its beautiful haha. microsoft has improved it a lot from the old age of empires. too bad its still a demo tho, the expected release date is sometime in october. i think the 25th i forgot. i posted up some pics for you guys to check it out. go download the demo from www.microsoft.com/games or from gamespot.

-1.4GHz Processor
-256MB of RAM
-64MB Video card with hardware T&L
-370MB of disk space
-DirectX 9.0c
Seems to be pretty low.

i dont know about you, but i think you need to say please. also didnt i mention this was a demo?
well anyway...on the website it says best played with p4 with ht technology. but i have a pM 1.86 ghz and it can handle it pretty smoothly. also the graphics card, i suggest somewhat of the high end if you want to get some good results.

lol..ever since i got my dell 9300..i've never looked at the minimum requirements for a game i got as a gift or demo i downloaded at all!!!! :eek: :eek: ...lol..i just don't need to anymore..and i'm sooooo happy for that ;)

I was able to run the demo fairly smoothly (30 fps I estimate) at 1600 x 1200, all medium settings on my 4 year old laptop which has a 64 MB ATI MR 7500 installed. If that can run the game fairly well, I'm sure it'll run on most computers, even those with integrated GFX.

I was unable to get it to run on my XPS2 due to a "Directx error" and I'm very pissed off about that. Even downloading it again caused the same problem so I said to hell with it and won't bother.

oh yea i had the same problem. this is what you need to do...
1) go to your my documents and then delete the file "my games/age of empires 3 trial folder"
2) set your screeen resolution to 1024 x 768
3) start the game and set it to the 1920 x 1200 (or w/e your native resolution is)
4) quit the game and go back to your desktop and return your resolution to the native one
5) start the game and it works :p
