Bluetooth Question
I'm looking for some Bluetooth wireless headphones which I can use with my Asus W3V, I've been reading around the net, and came across a few sites which said that in order to connect Bluetooth headphones to your computer, you'd need to have your Bluetooth reciever support A2DP or, Advanced Audio Distribution Profile.
My question is, does the W3V Bluetooth reciever support this?
(I think it's made by Toshiba? - but I'm not sure)
P.S.
I've been looking at the Logitech ones, and the ones by Toshiba, if anyone has any experience with these, please post your thoughts about them.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Bluetooth Question
You can use the Bluetooth for audio, that's not a problem. Here are the directions on how to set it up for your bluetooth audio device:
Start > Control Panel > Sounds & Audio Devices icon > Volume Tab > Advanced (under "Device Volume") > Options > scroll to Properies > under the "Mixer Device" menu, select "Bluetooth AV/HS Audio > click "OK"
There you have it!

Re: Bluetooth Question
Just one more quick question - the Asus W3V has an integrated Bluetooth *1.2* receiver, correct?
Answer:
Re: Bluetooth Question
It's not listed on the Asus site, so I'd assume 1.1.

Yeah, I'm getting mixed results on this...

Re: Bluetooth Question
Hm, well, looks like some models were configured differently. Download Everest Home Edition (google it) - it will tell you everything about what is inside your computer. It might tell you if you have Bluetooth 1.1 or 1.2.

Re: Bluetooth Question
In the Help Files for the BT Util, it says that A2DP is supported. Now, I could be wrong, but I thought that A2DP required BT 1.2, so I would assume it's 1.2.
