"other people logged on" to my network???

Question:
"other people logged on" to my network???
Not sure if this is a wireless issue or an xp pro issue, but I just reopened my new notebook and neeed to restart it...when I got a message saying "other people are using this computer and may lose data. Are you sure you want to restart?"
Hell yes..But with the help of the Linksys customer support (in the Phillipines, yet) and using a new router I set up the wireless last night as a secure network and it shows as a secure network.
So where's the message come from? Is it a function of this being XP pro, or is somebody crashing my wireless?

note that the message says "...logged into the computer", not "network"... this is an xp issue.
if you attempt to restart your computer while logged off, you will get this message.

Yep, what drumfu said.
All that means is that you were using the computer, or someone else was that you know, and closed it. You went to re open it, and wanted to shut it down. XP is just asking if you are sure you want to shut down and not loose anything you were working on.

Thanks...I hoped that was what it was. And thanks also for the info about secure vs not secure wireless yesterday. It took me longer to be sure mine was secure, but it's nice to know the two neighbors whose networks I can get into can't get into mine.

Do they know that you can access there networks? That would be the neighborly way. ;)
