Question:
Any survey I can take before buying a laptop?
I am new here. :D Will ask a lot dump question since I have no knowledge for any laptop. So any suggestion is appreciate.
I need a laptop for the following reason
1. To do some presentation
2. Need wireless internet connection to do web surfing, email, online chatting
3. 20 - 30 GB hard drive is enough for me
4. Need to travel, so it should be small and light
5. Low budget, under $1000 CDN
That is all I can think of for now. Can anyone give me some advice? A friend of mine has Dell Inspiron 6000, but I think it is too big and too heavy for me.

The v2000z with Mobile Sempron, 40GB HD, 512MB of RAM, and standard video should be almost overkill for your modest needs and fit well under you budget. If you can afford it, and don't mind the extra 0.5 pound, the optional 12-cell battery has phenominal battery life. The problem is you'll need a friend or family member in the US to deliver a customized one to, or maybe you can find a suitable prebuilt one at Best Buy or FutureShop.
