Question:
B130 vs 6000
I am looking to purchase a new laptop to replace my Dell desktop that I currently have.
I have been looking at and researching both the B130 and the 6000 and can't decide which is the best option for me.
I will be getting this through the PX (Army) and will get a pretty good deal on either model.
Here are the basics with the B130:
Intel® Celeron® M Processor 360 (1.40 GHz/1MB Cache/400MHz FSB)
Genuine Windows® XP Home Edition
256MB DDR2 SDRAM 1 Dimm
40GB 5400rpm Hard Drive
4-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery (29 WHr)
Here are the basics with the 6000:
Intel® Pentium® M Processor 735 (1.70GHz/2MB Cache/400MHz FSB)
Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005
1GB DDR SDRAM 2 Dimms
40GB 5400rpm Hard Drive
6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery (53 WHr)
There is a $200 difference in the two models listed above and it is $50 to upgrade the RAM to 512.
My main questions are pentium vs. celeron, 512mb vs. 1GB, and XP Home vs. XP Media Center.

Re: B130 vs 6000
The 6000 is much better in everyway possible. If you are willing to stray from Dell. Check out the HP Dv5000 and V5000 from compaq. Really the same computer, different colors.

Re: B130 vs 6000
Don't forget to look at the HP DV4000. With the X700 its a great mid range gamming notebook. But we really don't know what your looking for exactly. If you could fill out the FAQ, then we would better know what notebook is best for you.
