The Compal EFL30 looks like an option, but may be stretching it.
For smaller laptops, dedicated video is hard to find, and when it is there, the price will be quite high.
What 'future' games are we looking at?

Re: any notebooks with these specs....
I'm not sure. I am not a big gamer, so I don't really think I need dedicated video of some sort.

Give the Fujistu S2110 a look, it is a 13.3" with excellent battery life, over 5 hours, and the screens are among the best I've seen. You should be able to squeeze one in just under your budget.

for battery life and no graphics, i agree with the Fujitsu - 5 hours is awesome.
otherwise, try the MS-1022 out. less battery (3+ hours) but dedicated graphics and great screen.

Re: any notebooks with these specs....
Currently I would recommend
acer travelmate 4202- $1250 15.4 inch, core duo, 1 gig DDR2, 100 gb HD, dvdrw, Intel graphics (bad).
Acer Aspire 5672- $1450 same specs above, but with a aTi radeon x1400. Also, it is better made with a few more bells and whistles.
Possibly in the future the w3v from asus will go down dramatically when the w3j comes out. Its smaller, and has all the goodies you would need. But currently it sells for around 1500 (rebate included).
