Question:
32bit vs. 64bit
I want to buy notebook ASUS A3VC-5002 (with ATI X700) but I`m affraid about 32bit technology Pentium M. I found notebooks with turion 64 but with much more worst GPU (like GeForce 6200),whats more I can`t find notebook with Turion64 and Radeon X700. What should I do??

Right now 32 and 64 bit doesn't matter. When it will matter is when windows Vista comes out. Although I'm not sure about there performance differences between 32 and 64 bit, I can't imagine it being to much of a difference. Go for the X700.

if you want 64 bit with a X700, look at acer laptops.

Yes, maybe at the moment 32 or 64 doesn`t matter but soon it will, I think I`ll go for turion64. I didn`t take into acount Acer beacuse I heard that many people had problems with them. What do you think about this opinion??

Well Themca, if you can wait 2 more weeks you should take a look in the MSI 1039 wich will be released in the first days of march.
It comes with turion 64 + ati X1600 (256mb). Now, if if you can´t wait, take a look at MSI-1029, with ati X700 (128mb) + turion 64, wich you can buy in the site www.rawpowerpc.com.
About the 32/64 bits dilema, the main question you should ask yourself is: when you wnat to replace this new purchase? 2 years? 5 years?
If your answer is the first one , i think its not very necessary to buy a 64 bit, but if you plan to have a good machine in more than 2 years, you should go to the 64 bit for sure.
