Budget Laptops and Video
Hi! A complete novice/amateur question here.
Will budget/low-end laptops in general (or particularly: Celeron M 360 [1.4GHz], GMA900, 256 RAM) have any problems with video/DVD playback? How about downloaded videos that require divx?

I used the dell b120 with the intel Celereom 1.4 and GMA900 for videos (dvd)and never had any problem.
Aboutthe divx i think it would work tooo...

Yeah I don't think you should have a DVD problem with a lower end laptop. You just can't play very many games.

As long as your not encoding video a low end laptop should play avi files and dvd without any issue.

My v2000 (1.4G) does a beautiful job with videos and DVDs.
