Question:
HP, of something better, last chance?
This is costing me 2100 at Costco. Can anyone think of a comparable system they'd rather have? (And I realize i'm getting wanked on the ram, just don't want to run afoul of Costco's, no questions asked return policy).

Hi, if you can fill the faq in the top of this forum, it would help us suggest you notebooks more suitable for your needs. :)
By the way, the notebook is really expensive. You can buy one similar at dell for half the price, if you use coupon.
Other think, did you check the hp website? I think it would cost like 500 bucks less too. Don´t buy from resellers, buy directly from the company if you can.

Iskander, thanks. I've actually gone the FAQ route, and done a lot of prelimary work figuring out what I want. I was just looking for some last minute checks on myself--like someone who spent the same amount, and got something in the same category, but better.
And on the reseller bit--I wouldn't normally, but actually, Costco is slightly cheaper than the HP web site, and I can walk into the store and hand it back to them anytime in the next 6 months, and they'll give me my money back, no problem. which is attractive.

Ok, did you check dell? I think you can get something like that for 1200 dollars.
Oh just something, they normally (both cotsco and hp) overprice the ram memorry, so if you can upgrade it later you would save somehitng like 100 bucks (at least)
