I have a very strict buget but since this is my graduation present i have decided i could and some of my own money for the macchine for everything in college.
1) What is your budget?
2200-2600
2) What size notebook would you prefer?
c. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
Something that is portable but can still be my only computer option so I fiqure a 15.4 widescreen would be the best.
3) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?
Games and schoolwork. I am hoping for a higher scale mainstream gpu such as the x1600
4) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
I will have to take it to class.
5) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
I will be mostly playing fps such as battlefront and halo
6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
I really don’t like gateway or substandard brands with band tech support(who does?)
7) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Between 3-4 would be enough.
8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?
No I don’t.

To a point, I will have to bring this to class so something that says I’m paying attention but is still a little stylish.
13) How long do you want this laptop to last?
Between 3-4 years, but four years might be pushing it.

14) How much hard drive space do you want; 40GB to 120GB?

15) Do you need a DVD, DVD-CD/RW or DVD-R drive?
Yes I will need a dvd reader but will not need a writer.
I will also need 3 years of onsite service since I will need this for school, so any site with onsite service or accidental protection. I would also like a newer processor such as the core duo.
