Cheap Gaming Laptop Advice
1) What is your budget?
£700-£750 preferably but if you find anything higher i dont mind.
2) What size notebook would you prefer?
Dont really care Mainstream is the cheapest i suppose so that one.
3) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?
Word, DVDs, Games, Music, Browsing
4) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
Mainly on desk but when hopping in to college ill use it or a long train journey for example, i don't care about weight really.
5) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
I'd like to play Dawn of War, EVE, WoW, Rome Total War etc as well as oldies like Black and White and Starcraft. **** the unreleased specs for Spore!
6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
I've heard that Dell, Packard Bell and Acer are bad so preferably not one of them unless you've had a different experience, dont mind.
7) How many hours of battery life do you need?
3 hours minimum
8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?
Dont care
9) What country are you buying this in?

At least 3 years, planning on going to uni with it so as long as possible.

I'd prefer 80-100 but i would begrudgingly settle for 60GB

Hopefully we can make you happy with some notebook recommendations. :) Welcome to the forums
Your budget in USD is about $1300. For that amount of money, I recommend an Acer. The 5020 series is a great price/performance machine, and has a Turion 64 and ATI Radeon X700, which makes a great combo for gaming. It should come in under your budget.
You can also check out the Acer 1690 series, but I think that will go over 750 pounds.
