2nd opinion-Dell e1705 for $1,254.94

Question:
2nd opinion-Dell e1705 for $1,254.94
Just won an auction on eBay. The item was a Dell Inspiron e1705 for $1,254.94 (this includes shipping and insurance). However, having little experience in buying (or even bidding on eBay) you can understand that I am anxious and hesitant to follow through the purchase process. Here's the listing along with the laptop's configuration:

I wish to use the laptop for gaming and working with graphics and other tools to design video games. I understand that I kind of rushed to bid on this item without proper and necessary research, but, do you think that this e1705 will do the job?
A few things worry me about the e1705 that may or may not be worth the worry. Is this important to consider:
(1) CPU is 1.66ghz, though a dual core. Will I still be able to play games that require a minimum of 1.8 ghz processor without any degradation in the running of the game?
(2) 1gb RAM is 533mhz in speed; slower than the 677mhz CPU. Is this bad?
(3) Wireless card is the older "Dell Wireless 1390 (802.11 b/g 54MB)" whereas a "3945 802.11a/g" is newer available for this notebook model. Should I care?
(4) Soundcard is integrated, whereas a SoundBlaster brand is available as alternative from Dell.com. What do I lose w/ generic?
(5) Short 1-year warranty...is it even transferable?
(6) HDD is probably 5400 RPM, whereas 7200 is recommended for gaming.
(6) ...and what about infamous Dell's trialware?
Do you think the above matters are important for the purpose primarity for which I'll use this laptop?

Re: 2nd opinion-Dell e1705 for $1,254.94
When I start off they already do a price reduction so when I put on the coupon it takes it from the original price which was priced way over 2,000. How do I see the actual price without the auto discount.
