15.4" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) "Color Shine" LCD
or the regular 1200x800 resolution? Will the larger Res be impossible on the S96J? I heard that if you configure it so that it is not at native res it looks bad. I would need help here, I would definetley consider the higher res screen, but after reading that it might be too high, I would want to know if changing it would make the image quality crappy....help please.

I have a 1680x1050 screen and it is perfectly fine. I prefer it because you can have so many windows open at the same time. However, if you lower the res, it just makes a smaller rectangle in the middle of the screen.

In my opinion, WSXGA is the perfect resolution for a 15.4" screen.
It won't make it horrible, you will be able to notice the difference though. Probably not unless you look for it if it's only one notch away.

Well doesnt the S96J come standard with the wxga 1200x800 ?
Are you referring to that or the wsxga+?

If the listed resolution is WXGA, you can't go any higher than that. The WSXGA is available on the S96j though.

WSXGA+ and WSXGA are the same thing, dunno why they're both used though..
I like the WSXGA myself, but the WXGA may be fine, if you can check the different resolutions out at a local store like best buy or office depot that'd probably help.
