anything up to 800, i would prefer it be lower tho because its going on a credit card and it only has a litte mor ethan 800 dollars in credti left.

C definitely. but b would work too.

mostly just for carrying pictures in, i will be connecting it to different wireless connections, a little gaming but not that much.
4) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
i will be taking it with me on vacation but that wont be too much time..id say it would spend more time here at home.
5) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
I would like to be able to play WoW (world of warcraft) on it while im on vacation.
6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
not really...
7) How many hours of battery life do you need?
id say around 2 or 3 without having to buy an extra battery.

i dont mind at all as long as its from a trustable site

it doesnt matter...glossy would be better tho but if non is cheaper than ill go for that.

Im gonna be using this in different states with wireless connections...mostly for music and photos but liek i said above i wanna be able to play WoW on it so it doesnt need to be like a really GOOD computer just enough to get by.
specs for WoW are:
256 MB RAM
64 MB Video-RAM with transform and lighting
processor needs to be at least 800mhz INtel or AMD ( i would prefer at least 1.5 ghz tho...)
6 GB hd space
the vid card needs to be able to support 9.0c DirectX

Yeah, the Dell E1505 is your best bet. That's pretty much your only option if you wante dedicated graphics, which are a big plus for anything 3D.
Only option I'd add is the 256MB ATI Radeon X1400 graphics card, puts you right around your budget. 1GB of RAM would be nice too.

I'm not a huge notebook expert, but it sounds like for what you want to use if for, you could get away with spending like $600. If your looking for light gaming, just get something with Intel GMA 900 integrated graphics. Check out the Dells. They have some coupons on this site too.

A good deal with a dual core and a decent card, with extra cash u can upgrade the a larger drive and if you want a beter battery. Dell seems pretty good for your price range but I garantee u there are beter offer you just have to look. Try looking through site and what they offer in your price range. Good luck.

If you don't get a dedicated video card and drop the processor down to a T2300 you can get an e1505 for about $750 with coupons. For example:
