Question:
Bad Speakers
I think I got some bad speakers with my V2000Z (no kidding). Anytime when listening to music and the pitch gets low, the speakers sound like they are blown out (which they aren't). I have never had my speakers ever maxed all the way up, so it is impossible for them to be blown out. Does this warrant a repair, I think so, but will HP admit fault?
I included two "sample" audio files, <30 sec to keep it legal. One had high-pitched sounds and it is fine, the other has some "bass" and it sounds horrible (lke blown car speakers). Listen for yourself at how awful the speakers sound with low pitch music.

Well, when I first got my zv6000 I thought the speakers were blown to, but when I got my replacement, they were just as bad. I'm assuming you've got the Altec Lansing speakers - the JBLs were much better from what I've heard.
