7800/7900/X1800 Options

Question:
7800/7900/X1800 Options
Hey; what are my options if I'm looking for a system powered by some incarnination of the 7900 (or one of the similar cards ie; 7800, X1800, ect, ect)?
Besides the obvious dell, heh.
I'm starting to realize alot of the options I want, I can upgrade with aftermarket parts. I do need the almighty GPU however..

Another slightly related question... At what point am I wasting money on the CPU? I'm starting to not feel the need to jack the price up on my machine for a marginal increase in performance, especially when its the GPU, not the CPU thats going to make my machine or break it.
Basically: What CPU chipset is the most bang for my buck?

hmmm no i seem to be completely wrong there is no hp one.
ok lets try to get with this a little better
some compal 17 inch which is the inspiron odm, some clevo 17 inch and 19 inch which is sager alienware
and a arima 17 inch with sli. which is the um emachines odm and also the one for this alienware machine
arima also has at least one other without sli as well i think its core duo.

Alienware has a 17" with a Core Duo and ATI Radeon X1800:

Currently only available as the Superman Returns edition.
Other than that, there's the Clevo M570U as mentioned with a Go7900GTX 256MB. It is commonly rebranded and known as the Sager NP5760, great computer for the money. Much better deal than an XPS M1710 with a better design and build quality, plus a beautiful screen and full-size keyboard.

Currently the 2.0 ghz is the best for the price. However, this is due to a recent Intel reduction in price so many retailers may still be stuck on 1.83 ghz as the best.
