Moving a bit, but weight shouldn't be an issue

WoW(which runs on nothing), Vanguard (release winter-spring 06-07), various other games that require a working power supply:P
6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Nope.
7) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Shouldn't be a huge issue, will probably only use the computer while I have internet access, and cannot think of many situations where I wont have power. But if there should be a number...2 hours at least?
8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?
If I can find out a little about the keyboard and setup.
9) What country are you buying this in?

10) Would you prefer standard or widescreen?
Doesn't matter, can think of good and bad reasons for both.

Standard

Widescreen
e. WSXGA+ - 1680x1050; Wider viewing version of SXGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.

glossy if possible. but the difference isnt a big deal to me

Damn, those are some good deals, just checked the dell website and thought they were wayyy overpriced. But man, those m1710 look sweet!!
edit: looking at the sager notebooks right now and doesn't seem like any of them have over 1 gig of memory /letdown

look at an Acer Aspire 9800, 160 gb hdd, 2gb ram, core duo 2ghz, good graphics, dvd burner, 20.1 inch wide screen, BT, wifi, intergrated web cam ect

what do you mean? the sager notebooks are customizable. you can get it however you want it to.

And RAMs are aftermarket upgradeable. Get more when you want from newegg. I second the Sager with the 7900GTX

The Dell Inspiron E1705 comes with a NVidia GeForce Go 7900GS. It is much cheaper than the XPS1710. I just bought it and I suggest you do the same.

Are sager's only available from the manufacturer? And only the ram is 'aftermarket upgradeable'?
The Dell notebooks are nice, I just don't know if it will play what I want it to in 6 months from now. And I have looked through that thread, some very huge savings compared to the dell website.
And I was checking out that aspire O.o 20 inchess of goodness. Couldn't find any info about it coming out tho.
Edit: AbN619- Just looked at that laptop and upgraded it basically to what i wanted, and im around 2.2 :D Sounds pretty sweeeet. but im torn between that and the design on the sager's
