Build quality HP/Compaq 5000 and Dell e1505

Question:
Build quality HP/Compaq 5000 and Dell e1505
I've been looking at the HP dv5000 and the Compaq V5000. I've read lowlymarine's post on the differences between Compaq and HP. Although it was stated that they basically use the same parts, its my humble impression that the HP has a slightly better build quality. Its not drastically better and nothing to do backflips about (not that I ever could do a backflip), but just a bit better.
My question is about the build quality of a Dell e1505 as compared to the HP or Compaq. To those of you who own Dells or have used them, what's your opinion on the matter?
Thanks in advance!

I personally feel that hp has better build quality. My dad has the e1404 and my mom has the dv4000. Although they aren't of equal screen size or in the same category, the hp looks way better and feels more well built. I also prefer hp's touchpad with the grooved scrolling thing on the side as opposed to dell's.

Thank you Chazman for that thread. When I did a search in the forums, I never thought to include "6400" in the search terms.
