Question:
Anyone connecting their computer to an HDTV?
Just bought an ASUS w3v and a 42" Samsung Plasma and hooked the two of them up to play some Dawn of War in some widescreen goodness. However, I was dissapointed to find that it wasn't as sharp as I expected (I could not read any fonts on a windows explorer page for example) . Has anyone tried this before?
The samsung has a native resolution of 1024 x 768 and the Asus has a native resolution of 1280 x 768. However, since the Asus is pushing its display out, this shouldn't create a problem should it?
Thanks.

Re: Anyone connecting their computer to an HDTV?
That would happen since you are not running at the native res of the monitor, Have you tried 1024x768? Also 1024x768 is not a true 16x9 ratio so thing are going to look strecthed no matter what.
