Sure, we can help. ;)
Check out the Sager NP-5720 - great for gaming, 17" widescreen and Nvidia Go7800GTX 256MB. I recommend www.PowerNotebooks.com as a dealer:

In a 15.4" size, you can check out the MSI-1029 and the Quanta MW1, also the KN1 and the HP dv4000. ;)
The Asus Z70VA is another option, with the Z71V being a lesser pricec alternative.
There are a bunch of reviews on this site, check them out.

Thanks folks for all the input. I did a little more looking around and I found two systems that might work for me. Any critiques or further input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Gaming Laptop Needed
Yes, those would be good . . but, you said your budget was under $2k and you would take a 17". The Sager 5720 would be much faster than either of those systems, but then again, it is much bigger.
I'm not really a fan of the Z71V's design. It's not bad, just doesn't look like Asus spent that much time on it.
Quanta is the world's number one notebook manufacturer, their notebooks are of pretty good quality.
Those two notebooks are virtually the same in terms of specifications, with the exception that the Quanta has a standard 15" and the Asus has a widescreen.
Are the prices the same?

Re: Gaming Laptop Needed
if you have 2k to spend i would go for the N5720 as well, the Go 6600 isn't a bad card but it doesn't hold anything against the 7800 GTX nothing does actually.
if i were you i would opt for atleast X700/6600 but 7800 is very big leap in performance.

ChazMan421--
The 17" was my second choice if I could get it for my money. I'm still looking around and I think Sager might work for me. I'll look more into it.
As for the price, I had them both configured for under $2000. Quanta was a little over 1800 and Asus was around 1900.

Re: Gaming Laptop Needed
Dell wouldn't exactly be my first choice, but you can configure some GREAT deals on the Inspiron 9400 / E1705 with a 256mb GeForce 7800 (that will fly) and a 17" screen. You can get one down to around $1500-$1700.
