Question:
Importing a 5024WLMi from the UK, need some help/suggestions
I am planning on ordering a 5024WLMi (LX.AA505.002) from http://www.Stuff-uk.net for £840.87, and have it shipped to the US, only before I do, I had a few questions for some people that might have one, or know anything about them.
1.) I'm assuming that I'm going to need to get a different power cord for use in the states, correct? I was looking at the Acer site, and they had some items listed. Does anyone know exactly what I should get?
2.) I am also think that I made the right choice with the 5024WLMi, because of the 64-bit chip. Hopefully Vista will be out before it's obsolete. But I was also considering a 1694WLMi (LX.A8405.094), because it's slightly faster in it's clock speed. I don't really know how the Turion stacks up against the M. I figure I can always buy a ML40 (2.2GHz) chip to upgrade the AMD system if I need it
3.) Lastly, has anyone ever ordered from http://www.Stuff-uk.net ? Any opinions would be helpful
Thank you very much in advance

Acer notebooks are difficult to upgrade . . . buy the notebook with the CPU you want. The Pentium M and the Turion 64 compete with similar clockspeeds, so a 2.0GHz Pentium M 760 would compete with a Turion 64 ML-37 2.0GHz.
