Graphic Cards

Question:
Graphic Cards
Just how many 'types' of Graphic cards out there?
Or rather, which companies make graphic cards again?
The companies that I know make graphic cards are;
- Intel
- Nvidia
- ATI
Just those 3;
(If there happen to be more, please contribute to the list)
Also, I saw this 'Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900™ EOL' Graphic card. Is this good? What is this equivalent to if compared to Nvidia or ATI?
Also, currently, is Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX the best?

Re: Graphic Cards
The 7800GTX is the most powerful one, thats being sold. But soon, ATI's x1xxx cards may be of a threat to the 7xxx series.
The GMA900 you mentioned is the lowest form of graphics, its basically onboard and not meant for gaming

Re: Graphic Cards
Well, Intel, Nvidia and ATI make the chips. There are alot more manufacturers of the cards. There are way too many to name.
The 'Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900™ EOL' is a integrated graphics card which doesn't use its own memory, it uses system memory. It is probably the most advanced integrated card out, but couldn't compare to the dedicated cards of ATI and nVidia.
The 7800GTX is currently the best card on the market, it is available or going to be available (can't remember if it was released in 512MB yet) in 256MB and 512MB. It will offer SLI which you could put 2 of the 512MB cards together. 1GB of VRAM are you insane. :p
Edit: Coriolis beat me to it!!! I need to type faster and less from now on. :)

Re: Graphic Cards
Well;
For the 'Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900™ EOL' can I say that you CANT play games like, lets just say 'Command and Conquer Generals?'
Also, what do you mean by 'Integrated Intel® Media Accelerator 900™ EOL' doesn't use its own memory and uses system memory? You mean it uses the RAM memory? (Sorry, could anyone please provide me more details on this one as I am not very sure).
