1) What size notebook would you prefer?
15"+
2) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?
Mostly gaming, surfing, and writing docs.
3) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
Different places sometimes, but rarely.
4) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
Definately: Half Life 2, World of warcraft, Counter Strike Source, Everquest 2, DDO, and other games of that calibur.
5) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
Doesn't matter.
6) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Doesn't matter.
7) What is your budget?
Trying not to spend more than $1600 CAD but I figure it may cost more.
8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?
I don't mind.
9) What country are you buying this in?
Canada.

Hey, is the $1.6k before or after taxes?
For $1550 you can get a 1.8ghz, 6600 Go, 100gb 5400rpm, 1024mb DDR2 ASUS Z71v. Before taxes that is.
If after taxes, it'll be a tad harder...

I agree with coriolis...looks like a good computer. ASUS is always solid too, looks to be well worth the money.

That Z71V is an excellent deal, a great budget gaming machine. It will handle anything out there today just fine.
