Help me get a good gaming laptop
Hi, Im looking to get a laptop in the next couple of weeks but really unsure what to get. Have been looking through stupid amounts of website but dont seem to be getting too far. Have been looking at the toshiba satellite p100, but not 100% sure about a 17" monitor. Any help you guys/gals can give would be great.

dont mind, the higher the better especially for games.

I like the pros and dislike the cons of each evenly, so no real preference

price is more important and what's inside, although a good looking laptop would be nice!
14) When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last?
next few weeks. need it to last till have to upgrade

Whats the average battery life on a laptop? I'm just asking this because you answered "average" to the battery question. Are you ok with a 14" laptop ? If so check out the Asus S96J. It has core duo, x1600, and very good hardware and excellant build quality

dunno what the average is, say around 2-3hrs ish, enough to get me through a train journey maybe. not sure about 14" maybe a little small for dvds although will ahve a look at it. thanks

The dell e1705 seems to be the 17 inch to get for the best price with a 7900 go for under 1500$ using dell coupons.

dont suppose you know what the model is for the uk as the e1705 doesn{t exist on the uk dell website. coupons don{t work for the uk site either!
