==========
Basically I currently have a Dell Inspirion 1000 which has been playing up recently hence why i'm getting a new one This computer is more than powerful enough and if I could get something similar but obv a lot cheaper then I would be delighted though it doesn't have to be as powerful.
Thanks guys:)

Re: Cheap Laptop
The dell e1505 has a great deal for the dell 10 day deals, it is like 700 bucks and can handle everything you stated and above, get either the dell e1505 or the dell e1405 , the e1505 has a slightly bigger screen, but you probably can get an e1505 with exactly what you want, for about $800 USD including tax, so GL!

Just a quick point about the Dell e1505, does that come with a power cable or is that an extra cost?

Re: Cheap Laptop
I have used a laptop with 256MB and its not pretty. With cheap laptops the graphics tend to be integrated and so they take away a chunk of system memory for themselves. A laptop with 512MB of RAM is well within your budget (as i posted before). It will be a lot faster with 512MB RAM.
