Hp, Sony Or Toshiba?
I am in market for a laptop between 3000-4000 Australian, so about 1500 to 2100 American. Im getting it through my dads work so it can only be HP, Sony or Toshiba. Want good graphics and large hard drive
Hp Dv8000 looks like the best option at the moment

HP NC8430... that is 15inch widescreen though hehehe...
17inch sony? is it the AR? i think its a bit pricey...
dv8000t? i think others have their problematic keyboards and issues... but yeah it is the best bet out of your choices

Yeah sonys not the best option, Is the Toshiba Sattelite P100 a desent computer? The model im looking at is a bit cheaper than the HP although it has a slightly smaller HD

Toshiba Satellite P100 is a decent mainstream laptop but there are better ones for what its worth. It has a cool touchpad/quicklaunch option and has pretty good sound from what i hear. It seems to match your requirements but its graphics card isnt all that powerful, and the games you listed require quite a bit of power to play.

yea the 7600 go is a pretty decent gpu. the p100 model i saw had a weaker card. The 7600 should be able to handle your games but not at high settings.
