hello, iam not sure on this question,
is a intel centrino duo 1.00ghz higer speed and performance than a intel p4 HT 3.20ghz ?
if so , then would centrino duo 1ghz = intel p4 HT 3.00ghz ?

not really. A 1.3 Ghz is about a 3.2 Ghz P4 with hyper threading

ok thx , i was wondering why all computers on stores are only at 1.3ghz - 1.88ghz for centrino's duo.
now i understand that centrino duo is higher than p4 HT

You cannot judge a CPU by the clock speed anymore. The Core Duo is a much more efficient CPU.
