Question:
Compal HEL80 vs. D820
For anyone who has had their hands on both...I am looking for your opinions. Consider that both systems are equally spec'd out except the graphics card. Which one is more solid? Would you choose one over the other and why? I am looking to build a hel80 or get a refurb'd 820. I do no gaming what so ever, on CAD modeling.

If your going to be doing CAD and stuff along those lines, and not gaming, I would definalty wo with the 820. Thats the Dell Latitdude right?

Yeah it's the Dell. So you think that the NVS 110M (based on 7400) would be better for cad than the 7600?

yeah, the NVS quadros are much better for CAD/video and 3D editing/rendering then a regular geforce series, and they are actually a bit better for gaming (the 120M that I have is the same as the 7400go and I get 2020 on 3Dmark 05 and most 7400Gos get like 1600-1900) and the Dell just looks SO much better than the drab old compal
