I need some help with the specs for this device. What is the difference between an 80GB Sata Hard Drive and an 80GB 7200 RPM hard drive?

one runs at 5400rpm the other 7200. The faster you run, the better seek time /access time you have which translates to faster bootup/program load times.
The slower one has better energy use, but is, of course, slower.
