advice... should i cancel my order w/ gateway? NX860XL (related to core 2 duo)
Hi all..
I would like some advice.
I ordered a NX860XL from gateway on june 7 and still havent recieved it due to problems with the video card.
I got it with 2G's of memory and the 2.16 processor.
How long do you think it will take before they start offering the core 2 duo?
Should i wait for it and cancle my order? ive already waited 2 months...

Waiting for more than 10-15 business days is really unacceptable. Call up Gateway and find out what is going on. You probably do not want to work with companies that are so slow.
Gateway used to be a top two competitor along with Dell, but in recent years they have fallen way behind.

I would cancel and get my money back. If you're having trouble getting it, I am sure getting repaired will be no better.

^^ well there was just a major problem with the graphics card... I got a deal along w/ some free throw ins for having to wait.
Now all im concerned w/ is the Core 2 Duo... i wonder how much longer i would have to wait if i just wanted to cancel and get the core 2 duo chip
