If you want the cheapest laptop capable of gaming with a 7800 then the Dell e1705 is in your future as there isn't much competition in that price range for the performance you get. If you have the ability to wait for decent deals here and there You can snag one with your specs for $1400 or even down to $1100 if you get really lucky like one of the more recent deals.

I would recommend the Dell e1705 and with some Dell coupons it should be pretty affordable. You can configure it with a NVidia go 7900GS graphics card and just about anything else one might want in a notebook. It huge so they can fit just about anything in it.
