Dell Coupons... Am I Just An Idiot?!
For the life of me I can't seem to get the dell coupons to work when configuring an e1505... Am I just retarded?! :confused: Seriously, I could punch a baby right now. Are there some magic words I must utter? PLEASE HELP! I have gone over the coupon tips/rules numerous times and cant figure it out I keep getting a code that makes it look like I can't use the coupon because Dell is automatically taking money off (35%), if this is the case, then please tell me so that I may crawl back in my hole and cry. Thanks! :D

My friend recently tried using coupons and said they didn't work. She asked me about it and I told her to call Dell's sales number and ask for a working one. They provided one.

If you are trying to apply a coupon to a system that already has a discount on it (like 35%), they will not allow you to stack them.
But they do have problems with their coupons from time to time, so you may want to call them to find out as well.

Those coupons simply don't work on the good value setups . Its not a matter of stacking coupons like said because they will not work even if the "regular" price is qualified for the coupon .
Usually you get 3 initial setups for each model , basic , good and best .
The basic setup isn't upgradeable so coupons won't help , the best setup is too expensive to start with so its not worth it , the good setup is ( was ) the only way for a good deal .
What Dell did is not allow coupons on the "good" setup which offered good value , trying to get wise with customeres like you .
You can guess what I think of such a "promotion" .

The coupons will not work with the promotions, you'll need a clean link that will allow you to use your coupon. Just click on live chat, or live help and ask them to give you a different link. OR they can configure the whole system for you and email you a cart with what you wanted, then you could add your coupon.

oh i almost forgot, there are 30% coupons on this site, also there's an EEP discount they give, 12% stackable with your 30% or $750 off. however the only way you can get them both is if you call sales. it will not work on the DELL site
