around $2000 including a 3 year warranty.
2) What size notebook would you prefer?
c. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen

3) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?
Accounting, Quickbooks, custom applications, probably some movie watching in airports.
4) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
Moderate traveling.
5) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
No.
6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
I've heard bad things about Dell's build quality. We need something with a solid case that will stand up to being carried around all the time. If what I've heard is not true about Dell, then I'm up for suggestions.
7) How many hours of battery life do you need?
Not really super important, but a full DVD would be nice.
8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?
No.

Widescreen
d. WXGA or WXGA+ - 1280x768/800 or 1440x900; Wider viewing version of XGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.
e. WSXGA+ - 1680x1050; Wider viewing version of SXGA, good for movie viewing or spreadsheets.

Build Quality and Design
13) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you?
No.
14) When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last?
Within the next few months. 3 years, or the length of the extended warranty.
Notebook Components
15) How much hard drive space do you want; 40GB to 120GB?
Hard drive space isn't really important, 60+ is plenty.
16) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a DVD-ROM, DVD-CD/RW or DVD-RW drive?
Do they even come without DVD-CD/RWs any more?

Well one of the best business laptops around would be the IBM Thinkpad. The Z series would be a great choice and something that would carry you well into the next few years. They also have some decent add ons such as integrated camera and strong multimedia capabilities. The Dell Precision M65 is also another great option in regards with business style laptops.

HP's business line has very good build quality at a reasonable price.
