c. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
d. Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen
3) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?
* autoCAD, 3Dsmax, rhinocerose, photo shop, in design
4) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?
*it's not too important if it is bit more heavy
5) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?
*no games
6) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
* i prefer toshiba and dell
7) How many hours of battery life do you need?
* this is also not so important
8) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?

*glossy if possible ...

* toshiba is nicer than HP :)
14) When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last?
* in a few days ... few years

*doesn't matter but at least 60Gb

Satellite for design, hard drive space, and screen....HP has a faster processor....I'd go with the Toshiba.

I would say go with HP, the build quality of Toshiba Satellite series is just average compared to HP.

I'd actually go with the Dell M90. it has the Quadro FX 2500 which is the best for 3d modeling/rendering. Look into the forsale section fot tech, he has great prices on the M90. If you have to go with either the HP or Toshiba, i'd go with the Toshiba.

The price is almost the same for both HP and Toshiba
