Great US Resellers List
People always love options and being one of those people this thread's purpose is to give a listing of great resellers. This gives a great alternative to the mainstream corporate computer sellers. These sites are listed for their high quality in customer service and product line. This is only a small list of some of the resellers that I have come across on this forum. Please use www.resellerratings.com for non-bias reviews on each seller.

Founded by Donald Stratton, aka paladin44, Powernotebooks.com provides excellent customer service with a friendly, knowledgeable, no pressure staff. Powernotebooks.com offers a wide range of notebooks and accessories based around both Sager and Asus build notebooks. Intel and AMD processors are offered along with many dedicated graphic options. Recently added are their own PowerPro and Crown series built on Asus and Compal models. The site also offers a dedicated forum, product news and updates, and a knowledge section. I would highly recommend them.

Founded in 1996, discountlaptops.com offers a wide range of ODM notebooks including Asus, ChemUSA (built on Asus and Compal), Panasonic, and Twinhead. The visually appealing and easily navigable site offers a variety of ways to browse their online catalog, which is greatly appreciated. Known for their excellent customer service, they pride themselves on honesty, personal service, and respect. This company comes highly regarded.

Founded in 1999 and owned by Justin Nolte, aka Justin@XoticPC in the forums, xoticpc.com offers highly customizable Sager, MSI, Compal, and Asus notebooks. Xoticpc.com also offers customizable and barebones desktop systems. Xoticpc.com offers online catalog searches by screen size, brand name, processor brand, and notebook usage such as gaming, business, and lightweight/portable. They also offer custom skins and a variety of other accessories. Xoticpc.com prides itself on quick order turnarounds, low prices, and unmatched customer service.

Founded in 1999 by Justin O’Dea, aka PROPortable in the forums, proportable.com offers a wide range of computer needs from the “most portable of Pocket PCs to the "coolest" Custom Water-cooled Workstations with 50" high definition plasma screens.”
PROPortable.com also strictly deals with Asus brand notebooks which are known for their quality and performance. Their Asus notebook line is offered as a customizable or pre-configured option. PROPortable prides themselves on quality design with only superior components such as boxed Intel CPU’s, Corsair RAM, and high quality HD’s.

Founded by Eddie, aka geared2play.com in the forums, offers a large range of custom, barebone, and prebuilt Asus notebooks. They also offer the same in custom configured desktops. btotech.com also offers great customer service with many options for their customers including a support forum and download/information section. Great place for barebone Asus systems. btoTECH.com was also known as geared2play.com but recently went through a name change. Same great service and dependability.

Based out of Canada, milestone.com is your place for barebone Asus and Compal systems. They also offer Asus, Compal, and LG ensembles at great prices. Milestone.com also offers customers the chance to buy components separately including Core Duo processors, RAM, drives, and wonderfully priced Operating Systems.
I am sure there are many other great resellers out there so please list them if you have a good one to share. Also please let me know by PM if any information needs to be changed. This is a very brief list so I want to be as accurate as possible with the information provided.

Portable One. Located in Morgan Hill, CA, Ivan Gospich and the crew are some of the best folks I've ever dealt with. They deal primarily in reselling Sony notebooks and their own line of "Built on Asus" notebooks as well as offering a wide array of other products and services. Their Transflective UVA displays are phenomonal.
BTW, you need to change that link from "resellersratings.com" to "resellerratings.com".

One thing that noticed is that they do not service the computers themselves, you have to contact the individual manufacturers for support. Buying from one of the companies provided will offer great customer service guaranteed.

Already updated. The site has a few bugs to tweak and a few legals to change and google will reindex shortly but thats all set now. :)
