Looking for a thin & light notebook for my girlfriend (4-5lbrs.) not too expensive ($1000-1200).
She wont play games so no need for a dedicated graphic card, also a Pentium M or Core Solo will do for her.

She can get a Sager NP5460 that meets all your specs for right about $1000, with Core Duo. It's under 5 lbs and is a nice-looking machine - more stylish than the mainstream.
Another good choice would be the HP dv2000t. See the recent review here. She won't get the same durability/build quality as with the Sager, but will get more features for her money.
