[POLL] Asus W3J or HP Compaq nc8430
Yo,
in prev threat I started I cant post a poll, so Ill do it here. Im looking for the best battery life (elegantly) and durability (hate wibbelywobbely stuff). Which one do you think is better overall?

hahaha! that just sounds too funny! (yeah, i know my mind is in the gutter, but its funny!)
hp nc8430. x1600 is best in catagory. comparable to the s96j. and very nice looking, magnesium casing i think? plus you lot across teh atlantic can get good rebates on HP's.

Oh man this poll is hitting me at two machines that are on the top of my list. I just walked into a local store yesterday and saw the W3J and it is gorgeous but I think I'm going to have to go with HP. Still I can be twisted either way. I plan on buying with the next 3 weeks.

Both are wonderful choices. It going to come down to the 15.4" vs. 14" debate, although the NC8430 is one of the smallest 15.4"s and the W3J is one of the larger 14"s.

One thing to consider, the HP can be had with a WSXGA+ while WXGA is as good as you'll get on the W3j for those who care.

if you can afford the nc8430 you should consider the V1J which can be said to be the 15.4 wsxga+ version of the W3J with dvi and modular bay..if you can wait that might be a good choice for you as well..as far as size goes i believe its closer to the thickness of the V6J which is crazy thin
