i am thinking of buying the hp pavillion dv6000z for gaming and schooling purposes. i am wonder if it is a good enough system to handle the newest games.

If you want to play the newest games, you should probably consider either the Nvidia 7600 go or the ATI x1600. Perhaps you should consider the FAQ and post back. The Asus S96j or Compal HEL80 are a couple choices. Good Luck.
