Question:
External Monitor??
I am looking for an external mointor for my hp nc8430, just so i can use it occasionally as a desktop and i came across this 23" LCD TV and i'm wondering if it is compatiable with the notebook. The resolution is quite confusing, i don't fully understand it but i do know that they don't match, the notebook has a higher resolution than the tv would...so can i hook it up or no? oh yeah and my notebook has WSXGA+ screen (jus thought i'd mention it)

You can use it no problem, the problem is with the resolution. TVs have resolutions much lower than computer screens. The resolution of that TV is 1366 x 768, and the resolution of your computer screen is 1680×1050. You'll be able to display onto it fine, but it's not going to be near as sharp as a computer monitor would be due to the lower resolution.
