Question:
Compaq V3000z with Sempron in Canada?
I recently returned my Compaq V2000z laptop and decided to wait for its replacement. (I actually recommend people to wait for a laptop preloaded with Windows VISTA if they can).
Does anyone know when the Compaq Presario v3000z will be available in Canada with the option of the cheaper Sempron 3200+ CPU. The v3000z is already available in retail stores (like Best Buy) but only come with the Core Duo and Turion X2 processors. For some reason, HP hasn't released this model on their Canadian site yet.
Does anyone know when HP will start shipping the v3000z from thier Canadian site; also about how much do you think it will cost with the cheaper Sempron processor instead of the dual core Turion? (the v3000z with Turion X2 costs about $899 CAN; with Centrino duo costs around $1099).
