Re: Hoping for some Help
hello there janeygirl, anyanhasaiyo (sorry dont know how to spell that - my god brother is korean, not me :P, hope you understand it though)
now, taking a look at what your requirements are, your budget puts you in a very good place!! for that kind of money, you will be able to get somethign that more than satisfies all your needs... so lets get started...
i would first and foremost recommend an ibm... sorry im not overly familiar with all the models so i can only point you in the general direction - jsut take a look at their website and you should be able to find the model you want... i think a core duo 1.83GHz, 1GB ram, 80GB hdd or more, on board graphics (or ati x1400 if you want it, but if youre not playing games its not that big a difference)... ibm has awesome quality ya....
but, a big but, is that ibm laptops dont look that great, especially for a chicky.. they are all cluncky and chunky, just not very good looking i think... so my second recommendation would be fujitsu... they are awesome quality, and some of them sport an incredible 6 hours of battery life... they look slightly better than ibm...
but i reckon i would have to say some asus laptops look kick ass... try the w series, or the m series... asus is good quality ya, and has 2 years international warranty, so whether its canada or korea you cna get it repaired just in case it accidentally falls off the table or something...
